Relationship Counselling in the Comox Valley
I offer individual relationship counselling — meaning I work with you one-on-one to explore how you show up in your relationships and what patterns might be keeping you stuck. While I don't currently offer couples therapy, individual work can be incredibly powerful for understanding your attachment style, communication habits, and the relational wounds that may be influencing your present.
Many of my clients in Comox, Courtenay, and Campbell River come to me feeling frustrated, disconnected, or confused by recurring patterns in their relationships. Maybe you keep choosing partners who aren't emotionally available. Maybe you struggle with boundaries. Maybe a relationship has ended and you're trying to make sense of what happened. These are all places where therapy can bring clarity and healing.
I draw on Emotionally Focused Therapy, person-centered approaches, and solution-focused techniques to help you understand the deeper dynamics at play in your relationships. Together, we'll explore how early relational experiences shape your expectations today, and we'll build new skills for communicating your needs, setting boundaries, and allowing yourself to be truly seen by the people you love.
Relationship struggles can also be closely tied to other challenges like anxiety, depression, or ADHD. If you're noticing that your mental health is impacting your relationships (or vice versa), we can address those connections in a holistic, integrated way.
Whether you're working through a breakup, trying to show up differently in your current relationship, or healing from a difficult family dynamic, I'm here to help. I offer sessions in-person at Comox Valley Counselling in Courtenay, as well as virtually or by phone.
